Rarely has Don Giovanni been heard so lyrical and devoted, so seductive and melting from the baritone voice. Dimitris Tiliakos as Giovanni is almost overwhelmed by his irresistible seduction in the "Laci darem la mano".

KULTUR PORTHans - Juergen Fink

Dimitris Tiliakos in the role of father Giorgio Germont, especially his aria "Di Provenza il mar, il suol", succeeds with such devotion, understanding and tenderness, that one would hardly want to hear it differently and never again less.

KLASSIK BEGEISTERTLeon Battran

Dimitris Tiliakos' Macbeth is scenically beautiful. Elegant, profoundly human, bewitched, his singing teems with subtle and infinitesimal nuances of which we delight in abundance. His "Sangue a me", in particular, is dark, velvety and terrified all at once.

The steadiness and control of Tiliakos’ soft singing are heard to particularly touching effect in "Wasserflut" (sung in a bleached, traumatized tone), "Irrlicht", with its haunting mezza voce ending, and an oppressive, rhythmically implacable "Rast". His diction is invariably clear; and throughout he avoids the slightest hint of sentimentality.
